AION 2
Expect to fly a lot in the MMORPG AION 2, since flight is one of its main mechanics. You pick a side, the Elyos or the Asmodians, and explore the world from the air as well as on foot. It is a sequel to Aion set 200 years after the first game, and NC describes its world as about 36 times larger than the original's.

The title track was written by Ryo Kunihiko and Simon Franglen, who produced My Heart Will Go On for Titanic and composed for the Avatar sequels.
AION 2 first came out in South Korea and Taiwan in November 2025. The global version arrived on Steam and NC's PURPLE launcher on 5 October 2026, and on that first evening 397,905 people were playing at once on Steam.
Some reviewers praised the flying, though one felt it does not always live up to its potential. At launch the main complaint in Steam reviews was the paid membership: without it you could not trade on the player market. Players leave 55% positive out of 44,836 reviews, critics give it 62 on Metacritic. By our Recommended Score it is #4,432 of 4,736 games.
