Disco Elysium - The Final Cut

The Final Cut edition of 2021 gave full voice acting to nearly a hundred characters. The narrator and every skill were voiced by Lenval Brown, singer of the London band Maroon Town, which plays a mix of ska and rap. He had never done voice work before and recorded his audition on his phone. He spent about eight months recording around 350,000 words.
The Final Cut also added four political quests reworked from material cut from the original.
At The Game Awards 2019 the game won in all four categories it was nominated in. One reviewer wanted more role-playing choice and more focus, and at launch the PlayStation versions of The Final Cut had bugs that made some quests impossible to finish. Players leave 92% positive out of 119,271 reviews; critics give it 97 on Metacritic. By our Recommended Score it is #35 of 4,736 games.
