Dying Light
By day the zombies in Dying Light are slow, and you can easily leave them behind. This first-person game is built on parkour and close combat. At night they sprint, climb walls and hit harder. The day and night split was dreamed up before Dead Island, to make "two games in one box".

Parkour was first meant to work like Mirror's Edge, with hand-placed grab points. They boxed players in, so programmer Bartosz Kulon wrote a system that finds anything you can climb on its own. After that the studio threw out most of its story and quest ideas and started over. David Belle, the pioneer of parkour, came in as a consultant.
In February 2015 Techland announced a GBP 250,000 edition that came with a real zombie shelter and parkour lessons.
The campaign can be played by four. At launch critics praised the combat, co-op and the day and night cycle, and criticised the story and technical problems. Players leave 95% positive out of 376,494 reviews, critics give it 75 on Metacritic. By our Recommended Score it is #670 of 4,736 games.
