Grand Theft Auto V Legacy
The story of Grand Theft Auto V runs on heists, and you play three criminals in Los Santos, switching between them even in the middle of a mission. The word Legacy arrived in March 2025, with the release of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced. It is now the name of the original 2015 PC version.

Rockstar first had the idea of three leads while making San Andreas, but the hardware of the time could not handle it.
Los Santos is modelled on Los Angeles. The world team went there on research trips, and the road network was designed with Google Maps.
Three days after its September 2013 release, sales hit a billion dollars, and Guinness listed it as the fastest entertainment property to gross that much.
The PC version runs at 4K and 60 frames per second, and when Enhanced came out, GTA Online players of the two versions were split apart. Expect a rough edge, too. Some reviewers called its portrayal of women misogynistic, and a mission where you torture a man during an interrogation stirred debate. Players leave 88% positive out of 1,900,100 reviews, critics give it 96 on Metacritic. By our Recommended Score it is #57 of 4,736 games.
