SCP: Secret Laboratory
SCP: Secret Laboratory is a free multiplayer horror game that opens with a breach in an SCP Foundation facility. At the start of a round you are a scientist, a D-Class prisoner, a guard or a monster. Scientists and prisoners try to get out, while fighters cover their own side. The monster might be SCP-173, a statue that moves only when nobody is looking, and all the humans blink at the same time.

Humans hear each other only up close, but the intercom carries your voice across the whole facility. A scientist or prisoner detained by the enemy switches to the enemy's side. And SCP-939 mimics players' voices, so don't trust a familiar voice around the corner.
The game was inspired by Containment Breach. It launched in 2017 with four monsters and assets taken mostly from that game and from Unity packs, and updates swapped the borrowed parts for original ones.
One reviewer in 2018 liked the gameplay and sound, but not the hassle with servers or the trolls on the intercom. Another, in 2025, called it one of the best co-op shooters they had played. Players leave 90% positive out of 235,876 reviews. In our Recommended Score it ranks 1,115 of 4,736 games.
