Career Mode got a rebuilt transfer market. You now negotiate with the club and the player at the same time, deals take longer, and a club may hold out for other offers. Player ratings change over the season, and one reviewer called this arguably the best feature in the mode's history.
Lazio is back with a full licence, but Inter, AC Milan and Atalanta appear once again under made-up names, Lombardia FC, Milano FC and Bergamo Calcio. As in earlier entries, the game has no licence for them.
The same reviewer found The Grounds empty, more of a microtransaction storefront, and the football itself too close to FC 26. He recommended the game mainly to Career Mode fans. Players give it 48% positive across 11,444 reviews, and critics 76 on Metacritic. In our Recommended Score it ranks 4,116 of 4,736 games.
