Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II puts you in Bohemia in 1403, seen in first person, with a sword, a crossbow or one of the earliest firearms in hand. The story picks up where the first game ended and brings Henry's tale to a close. And according to its lead developer, the script is longer than that of record holder Baldur's Gate 3, at 2.2 million words against roughly two million.

One reviewer liked that you can live as a soldier, a spy, a gambler or a blacksmith. The world keeps an eye on you, though. Locals notice theft and can even work out who emptied a house, and if you're caught you face a fine, a caning, branding or the pillory.
Warhorse co-founder Martin Klíma named The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind as a major influence, and PC Gamer's reviewer compared the game to it as well. His outlet later named it Game of the Year 2025.
Reviewers noted that there were hardly any bugs or technical problems at launch, and the game sold more than a million copies on day one. Critics praised its open world, role-playing systems and story. Players give it 93% positive across 147,895 reviews, and critics 89 on Metacritic. On our Recommended Score it ranks 74 of 4,736 games.
Liked it? Try Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the first game, which opens with mercenaries raiding the hero's village, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, a refreshed version of the game that followed Morrowind itself.
