In RuneScape: Dragonwilds you can chop down trees with a spell. It is a co-op survival game for up to four players, set on a never-before-explored continent of the RuneScape world. You craft items, build bases, fight dragons and level up skills, with new abilities unlocking as you go.

The game was announced on March 31, 2025, and early access opened just two weeks later, on April 15.
According to Jagex's CEO, the studio expected to sell about 200,000 copies in early access, but more than 1.3 million sold. Version 1.0 arrived on September 15, 2026, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
During early access some reviewers said it barely stood out from other survival games. Version 1.0 got mostly favorable reviews on Metacritic, though one reviewer was not happy with the difficulty. Players leave 80% positive out of 33,197 reviews, critics give it 76 on Metacritic. By our Recommended Score it is #2,662 of 4,736 games.
