The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe
Office worker Stanley presses buttons as a screen tells him, until one day the screen goes blank and his coworkers vanish. In The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe you guide him through the empty office to a narrator's voice and decide whether to obey. The narrator weaves every act of defiance into the story, and after an ending it all starts over.

It began in 2011 as a free Half-Life 2 mod by Davey Wreden. Ultra Deluxe, an expanded version of the 2013 standalone game, was promised for 2019, delayed three times and released in spring 2022.
By the developers' account, the new script is longer than the entire original's, and some of the new material pokes fun at the re-release itself. If you have played the game before, you can say so and reach the new material faster. Reviewers praised the humor and the amount of new content, though one found several new routes more passive than the old ones. Critics give it 90 on Metacritic, and players leave 94% positive out of 34,541 reviews. In our Recommended Score it ranks 92 of 4,736 games.
